Two Alabama Intruders Turned Away By Armed Homeowner

posted on June 3, 2017

Two robbers recently broke into a Mobile, Ala., apartment, kicked in the bedroom door, and surprised the residents. And the suspects were in turn surprised to find one of the inhabitants holding a gun.

Police in Mobile told FOX-10 that two intruders—31-year-old James Key and 26-year-old Tony Daniel Baggett—forced their way into an apartment, only to find the homeowner was armed and ready. After Key was shot in the head and shoulder, both suspects bolted from the residence. The criminals were apprehended a short time later in the woods near the complex, and Key was taken to the hospital with “life-threatening injuries.”
