Competitive shooter Tony Holmes was asked: What’s the most important task for lawmakers to resolve, regarding firearms for everyday citizens?

“Currently, it would be national reciprocity (the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 was passed by the House of Representatives and awaits Senate action) and the magazine restriction/assault weapons bans in those states that currently have such laws. The Hearing Protection Act (HR 367) also needs to be passed to ensure that current and future hunters and shooting enthusiasts hearing is protected while on the range or afield.”

Tony started competing in 1974 at the age of 13 in NRA High-Power and Small-bore Rifle matches. Throughout Tony’s professional competitive shooting career, he has consistently proven himself as a top competitor in a variety of shooting disciplines, which includes IPSC, Action Pistol, Long-Range Silhouette Rifle. But its 3-Gun that remains his favorite shooting discipline.
