On Sept. 28 in Arlington, Texas, a car dealership erupted into chaos when a former employee allegedly began firing a rifle in the new-car area, making his way to the service area. One current employee told reporters, “I heard one of my friends say, ‘Hey, he has a gun.’ I look up and look him right in the face and he has a blank, very calm face.” Another current employee drew his own firearm and returned fire, stopping the attack and causing the assailant to retreat to the parking lot. Police arrived shortly thereafter and, since the suspect reportedly continued to act aggressively, shot and wounded him. The suspect faces at least two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Texas is a constitutional carry state. (nbcdfw.com; Ft.
