Texas does everything big, so it’s fitting that a record number of NRA members attended this year’s Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas, besting the previous record of 86,228 that was set in Houston a few years ago.

The more than 87,000 members who attended weren’t shy about sharing their enthusiasm for the NRA and its mission. In conjunction with the record attendance, the NRA reported high numbers of new members and solid fundraising efforts during the show. Money raised goes to either foster firearm education or to help the NRA with its efforts to fight for gun rights.
