The Huffington Post’s self-described “gun guy” is now shilling for the Brady Campaign, which has recently lost lawsuits against lawful gun sellers and seen its attorneys forced out of the Badger Guns case for misconduct.
Attempting to rebrand Brady, “gun guy” cites 2000’s so-called Million Mom March (now absorbed by Brady) as “significant,” rambles about guns as a “public health issue” and makes a tenuous connection to product liability concerns. Though his post is confusing, his headline is revealing:
“Brady Campaign Counters Gun Industry in Three Important Ways.” What kind of gun guy demonizes the gun industry?
Obviously, “gun guy” is another self-applied false credential, like the short-lived American Hunters and Shooters Association, which gun-control advocates used to mask their intentions. When he recently wrote, “Wouldn’t it be much easier to just get rid of the guns?” those intentions were crystal clear.
