posted on May 16, 2016

A Texas concealed-carry permit holder used his firearm to stop a man who went on a rampage in an office building last Wednesday.

According to local media reports, the man had an appointment with a counselor whose office was in the building, but the staff rescheduled his visit. The patient returned later and begin yelling and kicking on doors before kicking in a glass door, causing the office to go on lockdown.

When the crazed man burst into a tax consulting business next door and lunged at an employee there, the employee drew his gun and fired one shot, putting an end to the attack. According to police, the armed citizen’s lawyer said the attacker lunged at his client, and he felt threatened.
