A Houston area family returned home on Tuesday night to find a man armed with a knife in one young daughter’s room.
Adults in the home confronted the armed intruder, and a male resident shot him in the leg. The suspect was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
The homeowner has not been charged with any crime. The case will be sent to a grand jury.
