Manufactured deep in Idaho, these over-under rifles are hand-built to exacting standards, and each precision-engineered hinged action is embellished with English scroll engraving and mounted in a finely marbled walnut stock. Designer George Hoenig worked at Pachmayr and Weatherby before offering his S7 tool steel masterpiece in the early 1990s. This .225-chambered example was one acquired by publishing grand master Robert E. Petersen and is currently on exhibit in the NRA’s Petersen Gallery.
