Giffords Announces Merger Of Anti-Gun Groups

posted on March 17, 2016

Former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ Washington-based gun-ban group Americans for Responsible Solutions is joining forces with the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, which works out of California. Giffords’ group backs more restrictive gun laws, while the organization in San Francisco engages legal issues on gun control.

Neither group has been successful in pushing anti-gun legislation through Congress over the past few years, but together they hope to be a formidable force against the law-abiding members of the National Rifle Association. The merger is yet another attack on the Second Amendment rights of lawful Americans—and yet another reason we all should support the NRA in fighting proposed gun bans this year and into the future.
