Fast & Furious Gun Used in American Terrorist Attack?

posted on August 3, 2015

Repercussions from the Department of Justice’s failed operation, Fast and Furious, continue to be felt. This time, it potentially put American lives at stake.

Nadir Soofi was one of two terrorists killed during a May attack on the Mohammad Art Exhibit in Garland, Texas, in which a security guard was wounded. Five years earlier, Soofi purchased a 9mm handgun from the Lone Wolf Trading Co. in Phoenix, Arizona. His litany of past criminal charges should have prevented the purchase, but Lone Wolf was at the center of the federal sting operation at the time and was being encouraged to sell firearms to criminals for subsequent tracking by DOJ.

Whether that 9mm was used in the Garland attack is still to be determined. What we do know is that former Attorney General Eric Holder has yet to face any disciplinary action for his role in the deadly gun-walking travesty.
