Addressing “every political hack pretending you know the difference between an AR-15 and a double-barreled shotgun,” NRA Commentator Dom Raso has released a new video taking on President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and others calling for a ban on semi-auto rifles.

“Stop talking!” Raso suggests. “Every word not only exposes your ignorance, but your utter contempt for those trying to survive in an age of terror you still won’t fully recognize.”

As one who has extensively used both the AR-15 and M16, Raso knows more about the guns than most people. “I was a SEAL for 12 years,” he said. “Now I train average, everyday Americans to protect themselves and their families. And for the vast majority of people I work with, there is no better firearm to defend their homes against realistic threats than an AR-15 semi-automatic.”

Raso also pointed out that nearly every recent mass shooting was stopped by police using semi-auto rifles. “Why would you want to ban the gun that you pray for police to show up with?” he asks.
