Armed St. Louis Man Stops Car Thief

A St. Louis man on Thursday used his firearm to stop a man who attacked him while trying to steal his car.

According to local media reports, the armed citizen discovered another man trying to steal his car. When confronted, the car thief lunged at the owner, who drew his handgun and shot the alleged thief in the leg, ending the attack.

The suspect was taking to a local hospital for treatment. The car owner was not hurt in the incident.
