Armed Employee Stops Cell Phone Store Robbery

A Texas cell phone store employee shot an armed robber last Thursday night, putting an end to the robbery and protecting other employees and customers in the store.

According to local media reports, a man entered a Dallas Metro PCS store wielding a handgun and ordered customers to lie on the ground. An employee in the back of the store heard the suspect make the demand, armed himself with a handgun, confronted the suspect and shot him, ending the threat.

The injured armed robber was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Police are still investigating the incident.
