Alabama Woman Saves Herself From Violent Estranged Husband

A Decatur, Ala., woman on Tuesday fatally shot her estranged husband inside the couple’s home.

According to local media reports, the woman told police she shot the man in self-defense. Divorce documents filed by the woman indicate that her husband has been involved in two standoffs with police.

No charges have been filed, and police continue to investigate.
