CBS Has Doubts About Second Amendment

posted on March 15, 2016

In a story showing CBS News’ anti-gun viewpoint, the network on Sunday intimated that the meaning of the Second Amendment is still “unclear,” suggesting that Antonin Scalia’s replacement will help decide whether it is an individual right.

As pointed out on Breitbart.com, to arrive at such a position, “CBS News does two things: 1. They admit the Supreme Court’s ruling in District of Columbia v. Heller (2008) ‘affirmed an individual’s right to keep and bear arms.’ 2. They cast doubt on whether this decision can be the final by intimating that the real meaning of the Second Amendment is still in doubt among law school professors and members of various think tanks.”

In truth, the Supreme Court was very clear in the Heller decision that the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right of all Americans—no ifs, ands or buts.
